Speer Detective Services

We had so much fun for Hanna's birthday party! I think I had too much fun making things for it. We decided to have a detective party. The invitations were little file folders with the words "Confidential" or "Top Secret" on the front. Inside, the invitation was written backwards, so the kids had to figure it out or hold it in front of a mirror to read it!
The first part of the party was an academy where they all had to find items around the neighborhood (magnifying glass, notebook, pen). If they found all their stuff they got their detective badges.

Every one had an agent name. They had to use agent names through out the party.

While they were out searching for their stuff some one took Hanna's cake! The agents then had to figure out who did it and where the cake was. It was a blast watching them look for clues and interview my neighbors. (good thing we have some cool neighbors!!) It didn't take long for them to figure out that it was Kelly and Marco; our neighbors and good friends.

Then all agents ate cake while Agent Eagle Eye opened her packages. Luckily there were no bombs just great gifts! (thanks to all who came and helped out!! and a special thanks to our cake snatchers!!)
So if you ever need detective services...who are you going to call??

So, so cute. You should submit your great ideas to Family Fun magazine.
